I have also dated artists! I'm starting to sound like I've been around a bit..... lol. But I think I've finally found my forever guy..... or at least until he turns 30!

Oh, I meant to say- hope you feel better soon BigSomb
I'm annoyed at spending Saturday night on my own watching telly, at least that Belgian drama was pretty good its called Cordon (it's about a virus)and is set in Antwerp and is in 10 parts, i've seen parts 1 and 2. I would certainly recommend it.
Just seen the weather forecast - they saying 33C next week, dunno what that is in F's but hot. I did buy myself a hammock and have set it up on the balconey - I bought the heavy duty Homer Simpson version so it won't break under the strain. I did sleep on the balconey once a few years ago but Londoners are noisy b******s so it's not a great option

Hey team!!!! I had an awesome day! I beat my records all the way around. I am a tired puppy. Rainy day tomorrow and gonna cook all day. French toast for breakfast. Pot roast for dinner. Snacks all day.
Sounds like you all have been having sober fun! I will catch up tomorrow. Good to be here.

Yay Weasel!! Awesome!
Not so much to catch up with now. I went to the park with the children and am feeling much better. Big park just two blocks from the house. That's less than a quarter mile. I can see it from my house. Great place to see people. My son inserted himself into one of the infant swings and got stuck. I had to get him out and I nearly had to ask for help. I'm not tall enough nor strong enough apparently. The kid is solid and weighs a bunch.
My brother is currently in China with his family, visiting my sister in law's relatives. I've had more communication with my brother in three days via text than in two months while he's here. It's really cool that we can do that. Technology is an amazing thing. Like knowing what you all are doing.
I'm going to work on sorting clothes and maybe watch some of my own television in the basement

Saturday
Happy weekend
I rose early, had a good breakfast and removed old fruit trees from our orchard. Hard, sweaty perfect day.
Going to French film festival family tonight.
Day 10 sober and feeling like the original pre-alcoholic me with each passing day.
Thanks for all the great posts!

Thanks SAO. Feeling better, but this cold/flu is certainly a candidate for Illness of the Year for me here in 2015. Reckon by Monday I'll be on the up-and-up. Since I'm also stuck with the "Tele" (my laptop) I will have to check out that Cordon show, I see it's available for download.
Looks like some crappy weather up north in the old US of A. MLB baseball games cancelled or PPD all along the East Coast today. Western half of the US getting scorched on the flip side of the coin. Yeesh. Just gorgeous down in these parts today, I did get out quickly to purchase some seltzer water and was able to spend some time on the terrace as well. Most of the day has been in bed, alas.
Art, yep I know Fergus Falls. Dat's way up der, hey. My family is from Minneapolis proper (aka "The Cities") and the majority of my immediate family still lives there. Our roots on my mom's side are up in central Minnesota - Sandstone, Finlayson, Askov, Hinkley, etc. My father's side comes from the SW part of the state - Worthington, Rochester, N. Iowa. Thrilling stuff, eh? Good to keep these tidbits handy for my biography I'll be writing when I turn 100
Reckon it will be another early night. Quiet, dark, and can hear the crickets chirping away. Already looking forward to morning. See you all then!

Glad you had fun, Learning. Six hours is a good long time so I guess you hit it off.
BigS, weather here seems to be flipped around. It's chilly at night with a lot of rain. I only put one window unit air conditioner in and I've run it maybe 4 days. Not complaining at all. I'd rather not be paying hundreds to ComEd for the summer. I hope you're right that the cold/flu is gone by Monday. At least you can rest.
I'm resting now. Bad TV. And I'm going to get my ice cream.
