I will have to look for those! I am only just getting comfortable shopping in the USA. For starters the sizes are completely different from the UK, and then you have to figure out which stores stock the type of clothing you like and in the right cut!

That's what tailors/seamstresses are for, learning!

On guys/dating.....There might be a cute geologist on the market soon. I'm getting tired of his drunken shenanigans faster these days.

Should I be worried I'm finally understanding trach?

So how will I know when the edges need to be redone??

Yeah, I noticed the size differences when I was looking on some European clothing site recently. Just so you know, Loft tends to be sized slightly larger. So, a size 4 will sometimes fit a true size 6. I have found that Julie Fit size 4's are perfect for me. Plus, most of their pants have 3% spandex regardless, so you tend to get a perfect fit. I think the size 4's and 6's will fit 26 -28 waists, and 36 - 38 hips.

When the daily sharpener won't give you a good edge you need to break out the big kit. All the daily does is hone the edge. With use, the edge gets out of whack. That's a technical term.

I will just explain to him about why I don't drink. Good thing is I hate mixed drinks. I am a beer girl. I can handle this I think, a beer joint and I would be doomed. It is just up the road, and there are other places nearby (it is a mile stretch of restaurants) so maybe I can suggest we move on somewhere.

learning, oh no! What did you say? Maybe he forgot you don't drink after his whirlwind afternoon of storm fighting.

Really beautiful evening in London, place alive with possibilities but I developed a beer craving and had to return to my flat. It's gone now (the craving, not my flat). Bloody annoying still, I guess that's why we're all here.

Good to hear you guys keeping fit

Soberwolf - i'm a fan of yours so you have at least three now

He knows I don't drink, but he does not know why I don't drink. So, I will just tell him and hope he does not judge me!

Wish me luck! I promise I will be on here later to let you know how it goes! But I am strong in my quit. So, I know I will not drink - I will watch everyone else being idiots and see the logic of not drinking!

Saoutchik, I'm glad your flat isn't missing. That made me laugh.

Learningagain, I hope you get out and have fun now that the storms passed but at a non martini bar.

BigS, sorry you're still not feeling well. Hate colds.

Weasel, you're amazing. 12 miles is a lot. Almost a marathon of walking.

I need to get in shape. My son asked me to play tag while we waited for gymnastics to get out. I took off running at him as he back pedaled away. And shocked him. He's never seen me run. That is very sad. I used to be lead off hitter in women's softball because no matter how terrible a hit, I almost always made it to base. A sprinter. And now my kids haven't seen me run. Time to get on a program.

Busy day. Daughter and I mini golfed while son was at the bday party. Some couple walked out to golf holding beers at 10:30 in the morning. I've been sorely tempted lately and today I've been hungry, angry and lonely. Bad. I just ate something and feel better. Alright, daughter is distracting me. It took me forever to read through the thread.
