I am happy to have found this site. It seems to be one of the most positive recovery sites out there. The last three weeks have been tough because I'm not handling my reactions to situations very well. For the last 24 hours I have been planning a relapse I do not want to happen. SO, I decided to reach out for more support because I REALLY want to stay sober more than I want to use. I just want to stay sober and not be bothered by so many pesky emotions!

Glad you found us, AnonSara. I highly suggest joining the Class of June 2015 thread found on this same forum. It's a great way to learn from and help others who are also in early recovery.
Remember that you don't have to take that first drink no matter what and as long as you don't take the first you can't take the second or third or tenth that will almost inevitably follow.
Hope you'll check in often! We're here 24/7.

Welcome To SR, and well done for not acting on your emotions.
Alcoholics emotions tend to be so exaggerated that they're almost as false as the Alcoholic Voice that offers to sooth them.

Thanks everyone for the welcomes. I have about 18 months sober and lately have just fallen prey to my addicted voice- "You've got this" sort of thing. I know that I wouldn't even have the urge to drink if the universe hadn't messed with my serenity! Oh, right, that's what they call Life!
Thanks again!
