Technical crisis troubleshot
hello. I have said hello about 4 times now without it going through.
Nutshell: mom of 2, drunk for last 15yrs at least. Unmanageable? Yes. I don't always make a fool of myself but have done enough times to be embarrassed. Hard on my hubby too when I decide to turn righteous. (Since I'm so perfect right?)
So I'm on day 4 and so far so good. Can't see forever right now but I guess that's why we commit to 24. Ok enough

If you are going one day at a time, you ought to post daily in the 24 hour recovery connection thread in the daily support forum. Each day I commit to another 24 hours sober.

Welcome -and congrats on 4 days, and on recognising that your life is 'unmanageable'.
As you chose that particular word, should I presume that you have gone to AA as well?
Anyway - keep posting. This is a brilliant forum. So friendly and helpful - the good people here have certainly got me through some tough times.

Sorry you are struggling Mesober, maybe you should post again tomorrow and try to work out a recovery plan. It is too hard for most of us to simply 'white knuckle' it so some sort of planning and help is required.
