Well, you have got two posts. That's a great start. Welcome. What circumstances bring you to Sober Recovery?

Cycles can be broken, I went round and round the alcohol merry-go-round for years, but eventually I got off!!

For me doing something different was the key, simply doing the same thing and expecting different results never worked, but being proactive to make Sobriety happen was the penny that finally dropped!!

You can do this!! Welcome to the Forum!!

Welcome Dlb. I know how hard it is to change a life long habit. You're among friends who understand - and we know you can do it. Never give up trying for a better life.

I finally stopped spinning in circles when I realized I was the one pushing the merry-go-round.

Welcome.

You can change and it can be better than you ever imagined.

Ya I have come to the conclusion that it is me pushing that merry go round and not everything I blame it on. Made it through the day today no drinking planning to go to a a meeting early in the morning
