Day 10 - and back from a dry camping trip!
 

Hey, well onwards to day 10 today for me! Camping trip was amazing, storms all passed just south of us! My 8 year old LOVED it - he caught around 15 fish, some bass, bluegills and catfish! He has been desperate to get a catfish for months...and landed one over 8 pounds! It was HUGE, I have no idea how he reeled it in alone.

We cooked out there, fished until we could fish no more, hiked and then had a campfire. I read him stories in the tent by the flashlight...no passed out drunk for me! It was absolutely amazing and I am so glad I was sober for the memories!

Congratulations. That will be a good memory for both you and your son.

I lost my daughter last year and the thing I may never get over is the number of priceless moments I gave away to being drunk. Stay sober and enjoy every moment God gives you
