OK, that video was hysterical. Dancing in the aquariums? Because it's a go go. Dancing in those sixties stilettos? Insane. But I love it. I had a pair of those for dress up that my mother gave to me as a kid. Dangerous and hard to walk in. Brutal on hard wood floors because they had metal heels. Funny that my radio station plays the song a lot and it just never dawned on me.
I'm home. Traffic was less awful than usual. Made it relatively quickly. Phase two of "cleaning for party" project. It's mainly clutter. Shouldn't take too long. Just relaxing before starting

The gado gado sounds good. Never heard of it. Maybe I'll try making it sometime when I feel ambitious.
Ants....so far I've kept mine under control. But I don't have kids in the house.
This week is dragging. I had major thoughts of drinking today. I was almost planning it. Trying to figure out when it might be ok. Like when I get old or something. Totally insane thinking.
Friday at noon I am heading to the mountains with my dogs and camping gear.
can't wait!

HaF, I'm glad you didn't drink. I've had days like that. When I'm 80. Maybe 75? Nah.
So far tonight I've moved a big bin of stuff into the basement. I'm taking it to churches rummage sale in July. I shampooed the couch which was filthy, apparently. Hides dirt well but the water from the machine was black. And washed the floor in two rooms. I'm resting now. Bedtime soon

I've had lots of ice-cream today - banana pudding, maple and walnut, sea salt caramel, and espresso brownie or something like that, lol.
Been super busy working. Deadlines galore. Kind of nervous about getting through this week. I've had to email and ask for an extension on one of them. New jobs popping up. Yay. Also setting up a new website. Making some significant changes and such.
My husband is still trying to fix the SUV himself
I guess I won't be able to drive it for a while. Really disappointing. I hope he gives up this weekend, but I'm afraid he's just getting going with it. I don't know how to trick him into giving up. I tried being nonchalant about it, and just letting him have at it, and that doesn't seem to work. He isn't giving up any time soon.
I think it's going to come down to me drawing a line and saying enough.
We shall see.
