Hello all.
Really appreciated the support I was given here and always tried to reciprocate. Made it approx 3 months sober back then but eventually I became who I am and began drinking again. Been going at the bottle pretty hard lately and I am beginning to scare myself. Plus my oldest just turned 21 and I'm beginning to fear the terrible example I've set.
Time for another go at it and this time I'm going to succeed! Too much to live for.
Thanks in advance everyone.

Right at this moment my plan is to get through today. After a few days I'll have a bit more clarity and be able to chart a course to success.
I have a lot less drama in my life now than I did 3 years ago so I'm confident.
Literally, one day at a time though at the moment. Staying involved here makes so much easier.
Thanks again everyone for the kind words.

Day 2 so far and if you've read it once you've read it a thousand times. I felt great this morning. I can remember last night! And my throat isn't swollen and raw. Was sharp in the office this morning and hit the grocery on the way home and raided the produce dept. AV was speaking up a little while ago but reading Dave's posts quieted it down.
Hoping that one of the benefits of my fight to conquer my demon is improved health and fitness. These 50 lbs aren't going to lose themselves. I see myself as Linda Blair after the exorcism. A little bit symbolically and some literally. Face, back, legs and mind. I want my 5 mile runs back!
Also look forward to my 21 and 19 yr old daughters not eye-rolling over the phone when I call them after 7 at night. Also, what will I do with all the extra money? Booking a deep sea fishing trip for my girls and I to happen in the next few weeks. Onward I go.
It's my day 2 people. Day 2.
