Tetra, I'm glad you had a good time. That sounds lovely.

I am sorry Ruby I didn't see your post and would never be callous enough to just skip over it. You deserve better.

Apparently he can't do direct deposit. I asked. Of course, he could be lying about that too.

Thanks Della. I do, don't I? I get angry too. I don't buy myself anything new or nice because I feel I can't afford it and he spends 500 on drugs without blinking.

It's almost 9:30 pm and I'm hungry! I better go to sleep now before I order a pizza.

Maybe it's time for a serious talk, ruby. You've been living with this for a while. Would he go for couples counseling?

Morning all,

Had strange dreams about mowing lawns in a haphazard fashion!

There is something a little disconcerting about waking up and seeing your life in bags and boxes. Wanted a beer last night, but I didn't.

You 100% deserve to be treated better than this!! Have you told family/friends about this? Anyone in this situation needs support. Can you get professional advice?

Made Friday no trouble. Saturday night, different story 4pm til 5.45. Wow! Mentally surprisingly hard. Like it was scary the difficulty I was having. Made it through now though. Hope everyone else is winning this weekend! See you on the other side....Sunday!

daz ,
way to go ..
you can sit and stare it down or go find something to distract yourself ,
just don't engage with it , don't engage in the fantasy it's spinning concentrate your mind on something else ..
Dealing with the physiological urges is tough but it gets better with time , then sometimes you have to deal with the psychological to make sobriety a good place

All is possible ,

Morning all did someone say COFFEE

Made it home safely - and sober. I forgot about the drinking associated with flying. Especially on those 10+ hour flights where they offer complimentary wine a couple times.
I was getting antsy to return. Drove home directly from JFK, no stops for nothing, just wanted to get home. Made it home on hour 24 awake. Could barely sleep on plane. Got up to stretch and wife noticed "ice" outside. We was just hitting the coast of Greenland. Took about 50 pics. Hopefully a couple turn out.
Now back home - a TON to do. Don't know where to start. I imagine the grass needs a cut. There was a dead palm tree on our front stoop. All of the house plants done good. I have to return them to normal from vacation mode. Got my six hours of sleep - still on Moscow time +7 from hear. It is HOT hear. Was 90 when we landed in JFK and 78 by the time we got home in PA at 9:30ish.

Morning!

Just did bill pay with the new bank I went with. I changed everything... which is a royal pain in the ass... because I now get 3% interest on my money. Plus I get $25 bucks back on ATM fees. I can live with that!

Getting ready for the day. Not feeling especially perky but once I get moving I will.

I need to catch up with everyone.

Oh... and that launch party was freaking lame. Embarrassing. The girl that set it up sits near me and all she kept doing was fussing for weeks. Like she was planning a wedding and that was it. Sad. She cannot handle much.

Be well!!

Remember to smile!

Gym? here I come!

Those are still pretty cool, LBrain. They make a nice juxtaposition with BigS's tropical pics!

Brain, those pics are cool! I'm glad you made it home safely. Lawn mowing and chores. Well, it's a way to get back into the normal daily routine.
