Downloaded a cool app for my phone. MapMyRide. My son and I peddled 17.30 miles today. It's was super fun and oh so tiring. No hills or there is no way we could have done it. We hit the C&O canal towpath. It follows the Potomac River and its nice and shady + no steep inclines. I was pretty proud of my boy. Longest ride of his life and never complained once. In fact he was into it and loved tracking miles.
Today is an easy sober day. Simply too tired to even hear my AV. If I did it would probably be snoring. Great day 21 for me. I can already see day 30 coming into focus.

Hey, Olive, it is just a tab bit warm. For the rest of you, we don't do hot very well here. No one has AC, and a lot of us don't even have screens on our windows. Big tidal swings, though - and I was walking in the Sound as usual. So beautiful. The water is really clear. Maybe I need to dig out the scuba gear.

Bummer, though - I dropped my MP3 player in the salt water and it was five/ten minutes before I found it again accidentally walking back over it. I didn't even know I dropped it till I saw it floating.
I don't have it backed up, either - and I've had it for years, so I've probably lost a lot of the music that was on it. Se la vie. At least it wasn't my iPhone.

Misterchill...I use mapmywalk daily. I love the ap....your bike ride sounds wonderful. When I get bike riding again, I will get mapmyride also.
wonderful Sunday here...after some fun activities I came home and took a delightful nap. When I woke up I thought it was Monday morning. I was so happy when I realized it was still Sunday.

I'm really glad I found SR....it's days and times like this when it is good to be able to click on and read about sober life happening out there around me when I feel....not really sure what I'm feeling but I know I don't want to drink over it. Hoping to call it a day soon and that the 'ol brain will go to sleep. Thanks for being here

I have not been sad on a Sunday in forever. I hate when I get this way for no good reason. I should have had a lovely day. Went to the lake and it was perfect weather. Just melancholy. I am with you soberclover I think I will just go to bed shortly.
