That was certainly obnoxious, Nons. You had no intention of swallowing booze.

Girlie, I'm glad you were with us this weekend.

Sao, enjoy the seafood. What a great adventure.

I'm enjoying a few minutes of peace and quiet before getting us all started. Birds are loud today. Looks like rain and I think I'm hearing thunder off in the distance.

Brain, I think I'm going to pass on Crimean tick googling. I'm ever curious about most stuff but for some reason, not for that today. Good seeing you.

Nons, wow, that is really strange. Gummy bears soaking in alcohol... just, wow. Crazy stuff.

*yawn* I had four and a half hours of sleep last night I'm up early to get an early start. Uh, I hope this coffee kicks in soon. I've already used early twice in a sentence and that is just a no no.

Gummy bears in rum? I'm glad you didn't listen to the AV Non. I had a similar experience with a tiramisu recently. One part was soaked with amaretto and the other coffee. I had the coffee side but was feeling I'll and what if? after. Wasn't pleasant. I really hope there weren't kids at this party. My grandfather told me a story of getting drunk and passing out at age 5 after eating fruit that the adults discarded from their glog at a party.

Della, I hope you are feeling better today.

I'm going to Google Saos stop later.

I agree. I don't go to many events where the majority of the population is 20-somethings. I didn't even know Rummy bears was a thing.

I did know not to take one of the 1 oz jello cups that were being passed around on a platter.

Sheesh! Kids today! Back in my day...

I didn't Google saos stop but did Google gummy bears and a ton of recipes for rummy bears and gummy bears in vodka came up. Really, people will do anything for a buzz. Kind of sad actually. People had Pinterest pages with drunken gummy images. I didn't look. The fact that they exist was enough.

Still at lunch! How French.
None of us drinking How not very French. Well three of us have got to drive.

Big news story in France is the trial of the 'magic cheese' lady who sold cheese as a cosmetic aid (mostly to Chileans).

Ah well we're off soon for the last leg. Grebault-Mesnil can revert to its population of 200 again

Magic cheese? Sounds like magic mushrooms to me. Think I'll pass.

Kids dropped off. Sitting in my car getting my head in a good place. It's going to be a good day.

I just love summer. Why can't it stick around all winter? Doors and windows open, sounds of birds and traffic, the scent of blackberry blossoms wafting all around the apartment. Tis glorious. There are Swallows flitting about on the river, catching bugs and big fish under the water catching the ones the Swallows miss.

I believe they are these guys, but they are so fast there is no way for me to ID them.

Today I could look for a job. Or I could go out in the lovely weather. See, now do you understand my problem?

Went to home depot today or whatever it's called here.
Eerily similar layout. I needed an allen wrench or hex key set to fix some doors. They actually had hex key sets in english. I needed a scrap piece of wood. Found one cracked down the middle so I "stepped" on it to make sure the crack was very prominant. 10 roubles after being sent to the fourth person to get a price.
one guy chuckled when he realized I actually wanted this piece of wood.
Forget about a coping saw... Head and cold worse... was runny nose d kid on the bus back. Ran into step son who cough the same bus home. Pure coincidence. I told him about the 'medicine' wife bought for me. We fixed it and I slept the afternnon aay. It's 730 here. We stopped d in a place for lunch and ordered the business man's so cial. They put a glass of something in front of me. It tasted like wine at five st buck I was assured it was lemonade. Usually it taste like lemon.

Endgame....I've got one of those trendy coloring books for adults....super detailed designs. I also got the 'big' pack of map colors...so cool cause we never got to have the big pack of crayons or map colors growing up! I finally feel avenged !! Ha!

Hope you feel better Brain....lemonade that tastes like wine? Ugh!

I got 6" cut off my hair this morning! It was getting way too long! It's a little past mid back now and I feel so free! Woohoo!

FaD, what a great memory! Nice pic.

Brain, you don't sound so good. How about tea and soup? Hate those late season colds. I'd be suspicious of non lemon tasting lemonade.

I'm eating my chicken kale spaghetti stuff. Forgot grated parmesan but it's still tasty.

Wife is making soup. This thing seems to put in words I don't type.
had hot soup at lunch. I'm ready for bed d and they're just starting dinner.

When I tasted the "lemonade" at lunch I almost spitit out. It was actually good tasting stuff. Think citrus flavored apple juice with a bigger of fizz.
cold is working it's way around. Have the cough and lung thing starting.
I hope it's not the russian flu or something from a tick. Just a nasty cold let's hope.
I'm watching the wife pretending she knows how to make soup.
almost nine and time for bed.... after some soup.

I'm 55, I suppose i'll have to grow up soon.

Arrived at hotel a couple of hours ago.

Last year I had a single room which while comfortable and adequate was a bit small for a week so I paid a bit more for a double this time - good idea (I don't have many good ideas). Much more room for not much more money

Agree with FAD about earning a living, my boss phoned me while I was at the wheel - claims he can't read my writing, which I have entered onto the computer, duh

Hey Brain welcome to the world of predictive text
