Della, hugs! I used to get the blues on Sunday, big time. I hope you feel better!

Bim, sorry you dropped your player. Hope it isn't all gone. Bummer.

I'm getting ready to push the kids in bed. I was making dinner and cleaning up while you all rolled over onto part two. Wow! Usually it's on Monday or Tuesday. First time on the actual weekend and not rogue sneaking.

Bedtime. For kids. I've got a couple of hours and some ice cream to go.

Happyandfree, thanks for the heads up on the walking app. I already grabbed it. I'm going to log my dog walks now. For years I've been guessing the distance on my various roots. Now I can accurate track the dog's exercise...well maybe not...he zig zags all over the place...

Well, I can buy an MP3 player for pennies, pretty much. That makes me happy-ish. I'm really surprised they are so inexpensive.

There was a lot of music on the drowned one of which I had tired, or that brought up uncomfortable memories, anyway. I think I have most of the stuff here on disc or removable hard drive.

Anyone have a type of player they particularly love - not Apple?

Luckily I have a back-up player with different music - so I don't have to walk all the time listening to my own thoughts. Sometimes that's a dangerous place. I like the distraction when needed.

I'm stuffed. I had chicken tostada for dinner. Still have calories left. This daily beach walk thing is working out well.

I'm envious of the daily beach walk!

A thunderstorm is rolling in. Music before bedtime? Although, I must go to bed. So I can listen to it while I lie there.

See y'all in the morning!

I am envious of both a daily beach walk and a thunderstorm!

Good morning to those who have stayed on for the second leg of the trip.
I through I turned it off but it was on and I'm getting the plug in the phone warnings.

Slept horribly. Picked up a cold. Maybe from the honey tasting- I was the odd ball thinking I needed a different little spoon to sample. Imagine how many ahead of me double-triple dipped. That goes goe everything here by the way.
Russian people are hardy. They readily share all germs etc. Wait for the book for more.
Got a "prescription" for the wife for her tick. Google ticks and russia crimea.
get a shot before you come here.
It's gonna be a long few days here. She has to go back down south to get her internal ********. Then meet with property management co about her 'condo' down at the 'shore'. I'm not going. Riding the bus is fun sometimes but it gets old especially for one day down and back.
have a great day. Weather here is fantastic.

Glad you feel better Ken! I think I do too. I was with kind of a negative person yesterday and I think I need to work on not absorbing other peoples moods. Not my circus not my monkeys. Have a great day all.

I'm glad you are feeling better Della

We have just stopped for lunch in a village called Grebault-Mesnil.

Haven't tasted it yet but the seafood looks amazing

Strangeness yesterday. Mrs Non and I were invited to the engagement party of our daughter's friend. Lots of beer and a fully stocked bar at the future groom's parent's house. Not a problem, really. I wasn't a party drinker, I was an alone drinker. 4 coolers of beer in my garage; problem. 4 coolers of beer in public; not a problem.

I was helping myself at the snack table. Carrot sticks, broccoli, cucumber slices, cheese, cookies, and a bowl of gummy bears in water. WTF? Gummy bears in water? I thought they must have originally been on ice to keep them from getting sticky and the ice melted. I scooped out a couple with the spoon and put them in my hand. When they got near my nose I realized that it wasn't water, it was booze.

There were people standing around and I thought well, if I throw these away now it might start a conversation I don't want to have, so I popped them into my mouth and ate them. Rummy bears. I think I had about a thimble full of rum (at most). I spent the next hour trying to decide if I was actually feeling any effect from them or not. I'm still not sure. Except that...

I spent the next 3 hours listening to my AV tell me - hey, in for a penny, in for a pound. Go for it. How easy that old obsession returns, eh? I ate an extra hot dog instead. Triple onions. I really wanted that rum taste gone.

I should have thrown them away, but whats done is done. Such a strange situation, though. C'mon, hosts - keep the booze at the bar, not on the snacks table!
