60 days
 

Usually post on other peoples threads.. But today is 60 days!!! I can't even believe it! I'm soo happy!

I was such a skeptic 60 days ago.. Would literally roll my eyes in AA meetings when people shared that life got better once the drinking stopped. I hung on though and slowly this cloud over my head started lifting and I really do know and can attest to what folks keep talking about!

For those of you just joining and questioning wether or not you should adopt this way of life...I'm here to say that my life is absolutely getting better! I just can't even imagine what 6 months, a year, 5 years.. Will look like!

We really can do this together, 24 hours at a time :-)

Yazzy, congrats! I'm almost at 6 months and can attest is does get better. Keep going!

Thanks everyone! As usual feeling pretty great today! Made up with my cousin who I haven't spoken to in months! Hung out with her and her family and we cooked out! She and her hubby were having drinks wine and beer and had I my ice tea! Nobody questioned why I wasn't drinking and I wasn't drooling over their drinks! It really just felt normal for the first time ever!
