Hi and welcome caitlin
Detox can sometimes be tricky for some of us.
I appreciate you had a bad experience in the A and E last time but please don't hesitate to go back if you feel unwell.
You will find a lot of support to get you through the first few days and beyond tho - glad to have you here

Welcome to SR, caitlinlouise; glad you found us.
Detox can be very difficult; if you have any concerns, it would be wise to consult a doctor or visit the ER/A&E.
Sobriety is worth this difficult time. Stay close to us; we are here for you.

Hi.
I had to realize that continued drinking will never get better because alcoholism is progressive which meant to me today is the best I will feel after drinking.
This happens when I picked up the first drink and continued my insanity of expecting different results by repeating the same thing over and over.
BE WELL
