68f and close /muggy here in london ..
I'm my shorts and doing the box relay race to the van at a gentle stroll ..

plenty of stops .. I don't realise how unfit i've become until i start doing something like this , i don't like it ..

Yet more stuff to work on and change in sobriety , well it's a one day at a time effort .. off to do another couple of boxes ,

Maturdating is taking yourself out on a date. No one else is calling. *Sheesh* Somethings you just have to do yourself.

Just picked up a factory reconditioned Siemens washing machine for the new house! Real bargin. A shy, young chap running a small business selling them.

Energy fading. Think I'll have a nap. Might try some of K's maturdating later myself!

Green tea, good for mind and body
Less good for computer keyboard it seems (i've just spilt a mug full on it). My floating decimal point is really floating

Have to post using mobile

Mex is right - it's very clammy here

Went to the local Saturday farmers market with my wife and we bought a pile of fresh veggies. Got home and made myself a massive plate of crispy kale and thin sliced leftover grilled London broil. Great way to put some good nutrition in my system before my afternoon workout.

Crispy kale is one of my favorite ways to eat a mountain of greens. Addicting like potato chips but the opposite from a nutritional standpoint. Simple to prepare and I highly recommend trying it.

Recipe:

Tear off potato chip sized pieces from the stalk and single layer in a sheet pan. Drizzle olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and ground red pepper if you like spice. I'm a spice addict.

Convection or regular bake at 375 until the leaves turn crispy but not charred. A lot goes a little way. I can eat an entire tray myself. Lots of shrinkage as they crisp. Might be one of the healthiest crispy snacks known to man. Lol

We better be careful going down this path - I know it could become a little PG if we aren't careful.

Good idea, Chill! I have purchased Spicy Kale Chips here- it was almost $7 for a small container which didn't last long! Our farmer's markets are just opening up - def going to make those chips!

Ha ha... in the efforts to not spell one word I did not see the error. Just that it wasn't the other.

Went to the movies. Started to watch Entourage. Left the movies 20 minutes later. That is not a record but close. Don't see it. I don't know what I was thinking.

Chicken for dinner. I am going to make a salad with that new lemon olive oil and oregano white balsamic vinegar I got on my vacation. Darn that stuff together is amazing!

Stay at home and watch TV and sit on the deck seems like the best course of action today. The date will just be here with you all reading.

Don't overlook the source of Behan's quote if you're doing the dirty mind stuff.

Taking a brief break from digging weeds and clearing garden. Lawn mower works like a charm after being fixed.
