Saturday morning here. Gonna be a wet (no,....rain.) and wild weekend here. Friday nite went okay....Monday is a holiday, thinking of it as the three day challenge.

Had enough of packing, dumping, and packing for one evening. Time for a simple supper of homemade chips. Maris Pipers of course, the king o' de spud.

When I say 333 in my accent, everyone laughs, due to my inability in prouncing 'th'.

Hi Lizella!

Took a break from the resume. I talked to Mr. Ruby who, while not a font of job information, made the point that we are currently undergoing a transition because he's not often home because of his job and I am still adjusting to doing the lion's share of stuff while he's gone. I just don't think this is a great time to make a change but I can use this time to prepare to make a change. Other opportunities will come along. I also talked to the guy who swapped out with me and took my space in the division I left and I took his where I am currently situated. He indicated that there will be bunches more openings. So, I'm going to take my time and do it right.

Behan, I can hear that accent in my head. There are a couple of Irishmen who attend the AA meetings I go to. Tree turdy three.

Behan, don't let it bother you. I played high school (american) foot bal with a quarterback that couldn't pronounce t's at the start of a word. Twenty became Kwenty, Christmas Tree was Christmas Kree. And he sure wasn't Irish!

Hey Ruby, guess what I got?

Now every time I drive, I'll think of you and SR. Pretty cool! Not too sure about the aroma, though. I'm sure I'll love it when I get used to it.

It's the little dashboard hula girl. Right click and open that way - nothing too exciting, though. We've just had several conversations about it.

I think this is wise. Preparing and planning for change is so important, IMO. Gently nudging ourselves toward our goals without overwhelming our resources. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate. I find small, thoughful baby steps work best.

Thanks Behan. In some ways I feel like I'm chickening out and reverting to old, fearful, alcoholic behavior but then sometimes I think that I'm finally taking my time and thinking before leaping into something. I just have to reassure myself that there will be other positions that open. I've seen at least five in the past six months. A lot of movement. If I'm thoroughly prepared when I apply I stand a better chance than if I just scramble to cobble together some junk. And I'm not in jeopardy of losing my current position. I'm just not very challenged.

Bimini! Awesome hula girl you have there! I like it. It makes me smile. Way to go.

It is very exciting!!!
And a must have!

Miss Ruby sent me one to my post box many months ago. It sits on my desk at work and is my good luck charm!
