Getting back on the bus
Getting back on the bus
Hi everybody, I'm a 23 year old guy that had a bit over 90 days up until about a month ago when I started to forsake all the things and routines that were keeping me sober. It's incredible how easy it is to become complacent with this disease, and how short our memories truly are to the devastation that drugs and alcohol causes in our lives.
I've been sober since Sunday 5/31/15. I was ready to swallow a few Valiums (like I normally do with a devastating hangover), until my God of my understanding told me to get rid of the pills and go to sleep. Which I did. Today is a great day to be sober and live life. Have a great day everybody!

Yeah its amazing how awesome you feel when you dont drink. It really makes you think hard why in the hell you decide to drink again when you feel this good! I fell into that trap too many times. Im happy you overcame your want to drink or pop a pill yesterday.
