Day 6 - had a moment where that thought "You mean I can never have another drink - no way" came up. There was a sense of panic along with it. Didn't go with it. Didn't indulge it. Ran like he_l
from it. Immediately brought myself back into the moment. Right now, all I have to do is not drink today. Whew!!!!!

I know what you mean....I am just trying to get through today, and not think too far into the future. Forever is a l o n g time! But, I do want the quitting drinking to be forever..
We have to stay strong and avoid temptation as much as possible.
Good for you! You handled a panicky situation very well...hope I can stay strong and handle whatever comes my way too.
