Haha Got a great referral for a shrink & a place for other doctors. Very excited about this, just not thrilled it all went on a Friday haha..

Too much time to dwell on it. But breathing exercises & grateful dead will get me through I'm sure ..

Tryin' to it seems like it. Just need to make it to Monday is my goal this weekend ..... Alcohol has not even entered my thought process. I have been challenged, tested, & tempted & not even a thirst.

Way too much on my plate. Dad has been telling the rehab place he couldn't walk (mom found out today) when in reality he can, just think its a frustration & depression move. So now the family, except me because it wouldn't be normal for me to be there. Even though I still have some meds to help.

Dennis I'm very glad for you that you have some medical support happening. Maybe you could call your Dad since you won't be visiting him for a while?

That's a possibility; but we are tryin' to keep things as "normal" as possible. Me not visiting or calling would be the norm ...

His speech is not phone ready; so I'll do a visit soon; once he gets more settled in a routine. His hospital stay started out hectic for a stroke victim cause when he was transfered mom couldn't be with him since she was being prepared for emergency surgery herself ...
