Day 9 and sober Loving this feeling.

The man flu has gone and ready for the rest of the weekend. Shame the weather isn't that good but have lots to keep me busy over the weekend. Its amazing what a little exercise can do for you.

I had a drunken FaceTime from a friend last night at around 3am and about two weeks ago I would be at that party, feels wonderful that I have woken up without a bad head or anxiety. It was rather amusing trying to understand what he and the others were saying as the phone got passed around the room!

Hope everyones weekend is going well.

Well its evening uk time and been to see some friends, had the usual cranberry juice. Its £3 a pint though! Daylight robbery! A friend is having a leaving party at the local pub tonight but I kindly declined, he knows why so all was well.

Been on just short of a 5km run in 29 min this morning. Feeling good, tired but good.

Roll on the second sober weekend and thanks for all the great support from you guys.

Good job Hopscotch
And wise move declining the night out. You will be full of beans tomorrow morning instead and might get that 5km time down to 28 mins!!!

Couldn't resist a post. End of day 12.

Still trying to shake off this cold, more of a head cold now though thankfully.

I forgot to mention, I had a argument with my ex two nights ago over the phone, my fault really. Was tempted to have a drink but resisted quite easily. In the past I would of opened a can of beer before I put the phone down.

Been to the gym today and met with friends after at the pub, sick of cranberry juice now so moved onto some fresh orange. I know a lot of people mention not going to the pub early on in sobriety but I really don't feel the urge to drink at all. Doesn't cross my mind at all.

Bed time for me, hope your all well.

Hello everyone, two weeks completed now.

Second week has gone slightly slower than the first but I am surprised how fast the weeks have gone.

Cold has pretty much disappeared and Im going to see the docs on Tuesday to see how my liver results are doing. I am eating well, taking multivits along with thiamine which is resulting in me feeling pretty good.

Looking forward to the third sober weekend ahead.
