Nice Inspirational Quote

Boy does this resonate with me

"James 5:16 says, “Confess your faults one to another that you may be healed.” Sometimes we think we’re supposed to be perfect and we can’t let anyone know we have this addiction, this bad habit, this struggle—we’d be embarrassed. Don’t let shame keep you isolated. Real healing happens when we get honest."

I had been trying to stop drinking without telling anyone I had a problem. For the past 4 weeks, I start strong, don't tell anyone, then fail. I had a horrible night on Sunday. Drank almost 3 bottles of wine, I don't really remember moving, I couldn't make a sentence out to my boyfriend, Finally Monday I told him. I said I have a problem and I want to stop. He didn't leave me, he didn't shun me, he said "I love you and we can do this". And since Monday I have been sober. Heck, I didn't have anything to do yesterday, boyfriend was out of town, son was at his dad's. This is prime "Get Blackout Drunk" time. But I went to the gym for 2 hours, made myself some dinner and watched Aquarius.
