This makes me think how fortunate we are to live in the modern era. This is really the ideal use of the internet (other than cat videos) - people who are geographically dispersed but with a common interest or problem being able to come together to share knowledge and support. Compare this to most of human history, when people had to suffer addiction in isolation with no AA or AVRT or support, probably not even having a concept of addiction but being considered morally depraved or possessed by demons. Truly a reason for gratitude.
