Just saying hello again
Hate coming back with my tail between my legs but here I am
Heavy work schedule and parenting duties have kept me away from aa
Coupled with willfull ignorance and arrogance I suspect
Day 1. No major crisis but soul eating disappointment and frustration.

Welcome back Jimdi. Stay close and hope you can find some time to get back to AA. Call your sponsor, a lot of the work in AA can be done at home if you can't get to meetings on a regular basis.

Shutting down for the night
Relieved I made it this far sober
One day
Pretty insubstantial but a mighty triumph looked at another way
Lonely and I feel like I've turned away from.the light recently
Desperate to see my friends but nothing in the tank to offer so why.bother

I know it's early days again and you probably feel like dirt, but why not start thinking what you could do differently this time?
what changes could you make? what other avenues of support could you add?

I think I'm scared about the depth and breadth of changes: priorities, perceptions. And actions I know I've got to make
Its quite overwhelming.
Tried to secure a sponsor _ had very sensible honest chats but it struck such a bad reaction in me I haven't been / had time to get back to Aa. Had a truly comical jaw drop when he explained the first tentative footsteps.
I knew it all intellectually. Had read so much in Aa literature. But it's different when it's said to your face. In blood and bone.
Anyway, can't do it alone.
My souls on the line.
Going to stick close to the band of brothers (and sisters) at SR
