My grandfather lived to be 80, and he was a VERY heavy drinker until the last 3 years of his life. Makes you wonder how long he would have made it had he quit a lot earlier... When I was kid, I remember my Grandmother saying that he would outlast her because he was "pickled"... lol She was wrong and made it to 98 years old...She did not drink...

My wife's great aunt lived until she was 95, and she was very active in AA up until the time of her death. Not sure of the exact number, but I know it was greater than 50 years... I'll have to ask my wife when she gets home...

actually there's at least a dozen I can think of here with 20 or 30 years plus :)
