Lucky you. We did get a decent amount of rain for about a week recently, but it's since disappeared. So now it's just blistering hot out every day. Hopefully the rain shows up again soon.

But yes, I love walking around in the rain. People think I'm a bit crazy because I don't have an umbrella, but I don't really see the issue. It's say +38C out, so it's not like you get cold.

Yeah, I just saw some footage of Houston--WOW! I hope everyone found high ground. My sons always played basketball in the rain when they were little and I would let them as long as there was no lightning. Nowadays my middle SD loves riding her bike in the rain with 2 of her adventurous friends--for a half hour tops and only in our 20mph hood. Makes me smile seeing them have fun w/out their electronics. We did the redneck waterslide yesterday (10x25 sheet of plastic)as our back yard is a hill. The neighbor girls who have a new pool came over and got wet, grassy and muddy also. Fun. Fun. Fun.
