What color are your eyes?
 

I read somewhere that people with brown eyes are more prone to be addicts. Huh? So with that in mind...what color are your eyes?

Mine are light blue/gray

Father - alcoholic - brown
mother - alcoholic - blue
Sister - alcoholic/addict green
Friends - alcoholics - blue, blue, hazel,

I think that's about even ? :)

Wife's are bright blue and she's right there with me on the drinking problem.

My 10 year old twins defied genetic odds and are both bright blue. I would be more encouraged about the eyecolor hypothesis for them but the odds of the addict gene are unfortunately pretty high.

ArtFriend - you are my pal in eyes color) Mine are blue-gray, and sometimes, depending on how I feel (brighter when I feel good) or what I wear, can be of a little bit shade of green.

MisterChill - My mom had brown eyes and dark hair, but all 4 of us kids have blue eyes and blond hair. Go figure!

Blue-green, depending on the light, etc. But usually blue. Alcoholic dad's eyes are green. Pill addict mom's were green.

I would imagine there are more brown-eyed addicts because there are more brown-eyed people. 55% of all people in the world are brown-eyed, if you can believe the internet.

brown is the most common eye color by a long ways.

Mom- green (alcoholic)
Dad - hazel (alcoholic)
Not trend followers I guess. But brown is the dominant gene, right?

My dad had hazel eyes and while he wasn't nearly as bad as me, he drank 2-3 scotches every single day for his entire life as I knew him. I've often wondered if his cancer was related to drinking but he died with a healthy liver anyways.
