What do you want us to do to help you? I have never been on a multiday drinking binge I don't know what is inside your head right now.

Can you call someone you can stay with or who'll stay with you until you can get yourself a sober plan?

What exactly is it you want Jeff? In the few sober moment you had yesterday you said you needed to hear what we are saying. You aren't listening though. What is it you would have us do? Or anyone do for that matter?

There is an excellent program at St. Joe's in downtown St. Paul with 24-hour accessibility. Here's the information, including the contact number:

Mental Health & Addiction Services

In another very real way, it seems you've already left.

There's a better than 99% chance you'll survive detox. What are the odds that you'll survive should you continue to drink?

From the sound of it, you have so much to be grateful for. It would be a shame if you lost all those good things in your life.

What on earth are you obliterating yourself for??

Where are the missing puzzle pieces?

Oh god, I have to keep myself under wraps. If I don't i will destroy everything around me including myself. Trust me, when I'm drunk and post on this site, its about 1\4 of what I am capable of. Pretty sad actually, but the truth.

I'll be honest w/you Thomas/Jeff, I don't like to post to people who are drinking/using at the time. But you occasionally sound rational.

I bet you're pretty aware when you're drunk of how f***d up you are. Your dark stuff, your ugly crap all loom up around on all sides. A big heap of dung caving in over your head.

As long as you keep drinking, it will stay that way & get worse & worse.

You CAN be better.

Pour it out. Play some solitaire. Go to bed & make a plan in the morning.

Acknowledging that is a start. It's now time to take action.

Keeping yourself "under wraps" has limited efficacy and a short shelf life. You need a plan.

I dont have a plan and I'm going to bed now. I'm a piece of **** , and as soon as you realize that, you will understand.

Piece of ****

I understand that one. Exactly how I felt not too long ago.

There is a way out, when you want it badly enough.

enjoy the numbness, it won't last.

"I'll take Sobriety for free today, Alex." (I liked that U. S. game show called Jeopardy)

Sorry for the sarcasm, but it's true, when you want sobriety more than you want numbness, it's here waiting for you

sending you love and hugs and understanding

So, all you have to do is reach out and take what is offered. Don't kill yourself for alcohol.

That's a great song but I could drink a skinful listening to that.

There's so many other songs you could pick? How about you sing and play to a different tune?

Write your own even, you know?
