This will be another first for me.....a sober Memorial Day weekend! Who knew such things existed?!? At 5 1/2 months sober I don't get panicky about holidays and such anymore. I love my new status as a non drinker and will never go back to that old life!

You go Brynn!! Did the storms wake you this morning? I had to be peeled off the ceiling after one of those thunder claps! So got up at 4:00 am. Not a decent time for man nor beast.

Art....my electricity went out about that time and the boom scared the crap outta me! It's cold today! I bought new swimsuits for this weekend but don't think I'll be using them! Ha!

It would have been nice to have storms. None for us. Clouds and chill burned off and it's now sunny and lovely.
And I'm on the train instead of driving today! I'm so excited about that.

Jennie, I feel your pain. I just finished online cyber security training about forty minutes ago. 22 mini videos of four minutes or less. Ugh!

Someday I'll ride shotgun, but alas, today is not that day.
Since you all did SO well keeping me sober last weekend, I'm back again for weekend #2!
Off work at the moment, so pretty much everyday is weekend. Holidays don't change much for me!

Memorial Day weekend. The unofficial start of summer. As has been said, the start of drinking season, summer partying season.
I'm not preaching or admonishing now but, let's sober up. This is the day dedicated to those who have served and those who have died for us. FOR. US.
