I think we'll be flying blind. I'm tired today. Blanie sounds good. In fact, if I get out of here early enough I will take train into office and close me eyes. |
That's one long weekend, people) But I am surely in! |
Hi MB, I know it says through the 26th but I'm pretty sure a new one starts tomorrow as usual. U.S. has a 3 day weekend that is the unofficial start of summer. |
Wow. Part 2! |
Crivens! |
saoutchik, I had to Google that... |
spent most of the day outside enjoying the cool day. Supposed to get down to 44 tonight and 42 tomorrow night. Windows open. Been planting my cheap flowers. Don't know why... you crazy kids. |
This is a riff on Brain fixing his toilet seat. Everyone talking about home, and moving. http://i57.tinypic.com/20zbipg.jpg |
LOL!!!! Who builds a toilet-house??????? :lmao: He's gotta be a Kohler heir, right? |
Brain, thank you for that clip. I never saw the movie. But I was listening to the radio the other day (I do that a lot since I'm stuck in the car a lot) and they had the "If you were president, you'd be, like, Babraham Lincoln" quote. That house actually exists. It's in Korea and apparently was built for the World Toilet Convention or some such. I saw the picture in a music video for the song "Home" sung by David Byrne and Brian Eno. Never heard the song before so I thought I'd listen as I like both David Byrne and Brian Eno. |
Oh, my. I just found this on BBC The porcelain god finally gets its altar at South Korea’s Haewoojae, loosely translated as “a place of sanctuary where one can solve one’s worries", but better known in English as the Toilet Culture Exhibit Hall and Theme Park. The toilet park, which officially opened on 4 July 2012, started life as the vision of Sim Jae-duck, known as Mr Toilet thanks to his efforts to improve the city toilets at the 2002 World Cup during his tenure as the mayor of Suwon City, South Korea, where the park is now located. He also helped found the World Toilet Association, which is dedicated to improving sanitation around the world. |
now this is living |
We may have a frost Sat morning :lala |
I was glad to find a wool sweater in the back hatch of my car to wear for my walk to the office. 46 this afternoon. Cold at night. Brrrrr. So Della, I perfectly understand. |
