One way or another
I must open by saying I am sober, Buddha knows today should have been the straw that broke this Camel's back; but it didn't...
Just left the ER; not for me, my mother had conjunctive heart failure :-( She has stabilized & I have been told she is looking good. Frail but good.
The 3rd time in a year an a half I had to call 911 for the rents. I am devastated beyond explanation right now.. But I made the trip in the ambulance, checked her in & did the only thing I knew & called my older brother.
Whom of course knows what a train wreck I can be haha but when he got there he kept me focused; in the dark how bad it was at 1st, but focused.
He dropped me off in pouring rain; waited for me to get in the building then went home. Sure enough half way to his house he called to see if I made that U turn to one of the 3 booze stores w\ in a short 5 minute walk.
Not sure if he was more surprised or I was that I didn't turn around..
I am numb now & can not even think right now.

I am sorry about your mom's health situation. You are fortunate to have a caring big brother! I am glad you stayed sober and can appreciate your family despite the stressful situation. Keep at it and have faith that everything happens for a reason. Have patience and remain grateful as much as you can.

Hi and congratulations for hanging on.
Many of us have difficult times that just don’t seem to end so we need to do the best we can.
As suggested I’d try to rest up as being tired for us is a huge trigger.
