Take the pill
 

Another reminder of how messed up I am happened yesterday at work. I went to fill out my time sheet and on the bartenders pack of cigarettes was half a pill. I recognized it. Percocet. My AV went nuts. "Steal the pill. Eat the pill. Pretend to knock over the cigarettes and put it in your pocket". I don't know how long I stared at the damn thing for but I left it and replaced the thoughts with this..."steal it? Normal people wouldn't have even noticed it and you want to steal it??" I don't even steal!! Thank you universe for the reminder that I am an alcoholic/addict in recovery. Thank you for providing me with the strength, courage and tools I use everyday.

Awesome! We all have crazy thoughts like that. Good job. I keep telling myself to just do the next right thing. We are not saints, lol
