Monsters are such innnteresting people. That's about my favorite bugs bunny cartoon. Thanks Art.

Gilmer, how awesome is that? What a great evening for you.

Behan, hang in there. It's an anxious and wonderful time. I'm glad all is well.

We're having rain off and on. All weekend. Supposed to warm up so that's good.

Saoutchik, I hope your dental adventures go smoothly.

BB King died last night. Age 89 and in his sleep. A nice long life and peaceful end.

At work. Check in later.

Amp I cleaned A LOT....and cleaned out all my closest and drawers. I can deal much better with down time now but it was all about staying busy at first.

No..how about you? The weather might not cooperate. I can't believe we went from 5 years of drought to flooding. Extremes in Texas.

3. Put it where I know I'll never forget
4. Wait 8 months before I need it again
5. Search for it for 90 minutes
6. Start over at step 1

Somewhere in this house there are at least 6 rolls of barely used Teflon tape.

On a lighter note, Bumtron is my favourite neologism. Three quarks for Muster Mark! Three Bumtrons for Muster Mesa Man!!!

Non, I have the same experience with Teflon tape. Reasons things become "Teflon" they don't stick and stay.

Taking a break. Brain, my radio station is all over BB King today, commenting his album " Live from Cook County Jail" is known as one of his best. Free admission I'm sure and the price of that ticket was still too high.

Brynn, I might be going. It's just a couple miles from me. Its my husbands BDay so he gets to make the decision.

One of my favs of B.B. covering John Hyatt's Song about visiting 'Graceland' and 'The King' is linked below. A few Lyric alterations make it all the better. Shot partially in my Homie Turf of the SoCal Desert; very possibly around Joshua Tree CA. That's what them Cacti are called.

Bass duties on this Track are covered by Player Extraordinaire Nathan East on his hot chit 5 String Bass. He's been Clapton's Tour Bassist fo evah, and has over 1,000 Studio Tracks to his credit. Including Pharrell William's 'Happy'. A very fluid Player whose inimitable style jumps out the Speakers at me.

Re: Teflon Tape... The good news is that I've got a Roll in my Tool Box. This Teflon Tape Con O'Sir even has the 2x thicker, yellow variety used for plumbing Propane Gas Lines, since Propane causes different chemical reactions than does Natural Gas. The bad news is that I used to keep said Tape in with my Plumbing/Soldering Torch. Can't find that Torch Kit now to save my substantial Caucasian Carcass. Bummer. Guess it's time to buy me a new Kit after having the MIA one for ~30 years. The Recycler in me hates to 'waste' Money on something new I've already got. The Grand Poobah running the Universe from behind the Curtain apparently has other Plans for Captain Cheapskate, here.

RIP B.B...

it was 50 this morn, I'm getting ready to take a trip to the drop pile, came in for a drink, I'm a sweaty hot person already... 80 deg today?
I am so ready ready to move into an apartment or a double wide, more than you can imagine... - with a parking spot for 40' RV of course

MM, I'll always remember Joshua trees. When I was a kid, a million years ago, I almost poked my eye out getting too close to one when we were on a Cali vacation.

Day is progressing slowly. I want to work on getting ready to shed stuff at a flea market/junk sale hosted by my kid's school. Since it's supposed to rain this weekend, I should have time. Hopefully.

Bernie, stay strong! It's a shame that Mr. Bernie is being insistent but waking up not hungover is priceless. My thoughts are with you

I would miss it I think the maintenance is just getting to me this year probably because I was too drunk to care before. Now I want it all done yesterday. But it has been good for me having projects. So I guess I will stay: )

I love condo living. I have a huge yard, someone else maintains it.

I am on the top on the end, and it's really a quiet community.

But, the neighbors are pretty dang close - and we can't seem to agree on what needs to be done maintenance-wise.

Still easier than a single family thing, though. I would like to have a big dog and can't; and I would like to have a boat, and I'd like to be able to do laundry at 5AM. But, overall I like it. I always lived in houses before I moved here.
