Hi! I am here... you are so sweet Weasel! I don't normally get on the bus... ironically I actually was a bus driver in college! Paid well and I met lots of "in-teresting" people. Like this:

glad you hopped on board ART!

Mrs is up from her nap and eating. She'll be off in about 10 minutes. I need to strap on the work boots and get to it!
Weasel reminded me of a riddle/puzzle book I was trying to think of yesterday. "The chicken from Minsk" Wife would say I cheated when I quickly figured them out, meaning I already looked up the answer. Not true my fair maiden... I'm not called the brain for nuthin!

Nons ~

As regular User of Teflon Tape in various Plumbing Escapades, I found that completely wrapping myself in it keeps various bad things at bay.

Years ago, while visiting Particle Accelerators around the World, I came up with the idea of 'BumTrons'. Not unlike 'Quarks' or 'Neutrinos', BumTroms are also little Particles. They are dense around People and/or situations that would bum me out. Especially People. So, I've made it a point to avoid BumTrons whenever I can. They everywhere!

In my protective Teflon Tape Outfit seen below, I can deflect BumTroms all Weekend, and stay Sober.

True, this Outfit is probably not a good way to meet Babes at our local Dog Park. I'm too old and too married to give a Rat's about that, though...

Your mummy pic reminded me of when Joan Rivers was talking about all of her plastic surgery. She said her grandson saw the mummy on TV and cried out "Grandma!"

Lol Brain your post reminded me of when I was married. My ex always worked second shift. I used to watch Jeopardy then watch it again with him...he thought I was brilliant for the longest time.

MM, I love the "BumTron" philosophy. Although I've never personally tried the teflon wrap, I try to avoid BumTrons like the plague.

So much easier to deal with life when you can avoid negativity.

Not always possible, but I'm sure the wrap helps. Could be considered "Shabby-Chic" as well... you might just start a new trend.

I used to read the daily quiz in the paper on the way to work and then sit with my boss during our lunchbreak and'acting' that I was thinking about it - throwing in the occasional wrong answer to throw him off the scent :-D

He was a lovely chap, sadly no longer with us. And on the bus theme he used to run a club for people who were interested in old buses. Of a Friday afternoon while the main office were working hard I'd type up his newletters and stuff like that.

I'm on my own with my two kids (9 and 12) this weekend so I'll be busy enough during the day. The evenings worry me a little more. Movies, a good book...any other suggestions welcome!

Art....I can't remember a spring that it's rained like this can you? There are ducks swimming in flooded fields! So cute! Are you going to the Wildflower Festival this weekend?
