Lots of great encouragement going on!!!

Glad to have you with us Lilac and always speak up if you hit a patch.

The kite festival was ok. Lots of kites and lots of little ones and parents all trying desperately to get their kids curious George or princess kits in the air. Luckily there is always wind on the tip of the peninsula where they are. Always kites in the air there nearly everyday in the summer. Lots of daddies.

No brisket... but I am making an old fashioned yankee pot roast. one of my favorites. In the oven for 2:45 min more!

Thats ok... give Miss Olive time to catch me in Fitbit steps since I will not be moving around as much. 13K steps and 6.3 miles already today! Chop Chop Olive! You are doing great! Olive has 10K already and she has a few extra hours in her day after I am in bed to finish me off!!!

Stay strong... heading into drunk time. The uncomfortable time of day when I would always be drunk. Not no' mo'!!

k

Your not wrong ArtFriend.

Blood pressure has gone back down now

Coincidence (with Newpage) I just got an email from my sister & bil who are on holiday in Spain. During the week the temperature got up to 42 C or 108F. For May! It melted her flip flops

Its a good day when you can catch your cats hairball in a paper towel before it hits the carpet. Oh yeah... not once but twice! Feeling a sense of accomplishment right now!!!

Yo, Ken, Petromalt. Much easier - it really works.

For some reason I seemed to step on them at 4 AM in bare feet.

I MEAN!!! Well done.

Art, Brynn the wildflower festival is not the place to be if you are feeling craving prone today. I good, no drinking for me. Left and eating lunch.

((GS))....glad you're safe and sound!

Ha weasel! That gives me the creeps and kinda grosses me out but congrats! You're a hairball ninja!

HAF....I haven't roller skated since I was 14 at the roller rink! (Do they even still have those?). I remember couples skating with a guy named Jamie who was a year older and smoked! I thought I was so cool! Ha!

Weas, I have to say you are a hair ball ninja. Yuck! I've managed to sidestep them but just yuck. Olive is out walking around to spite you.

BigS, I think Mec's suggestion is a good one. Clean cuts are the best. Don't beat yourself up. I couldn't do it. I'd be super ungracious even if I had said yes.

Conquest, have fun at the book signing. That sounds fun.

I'm about to get my lazy rear end into the house to put away my treasures from Target. Toilet paper and a box of Gain laundry detergent. I've heard it from reliable sources that it's good stuff.

I get the wildflower thing. I thought it was going out and appreciating the bluebells. I see it's a music festival, i.e., drenched in booze with accompanying sweaty drunken crowds. I'd have skedaddled too.

This is a great thread. People talking about life, not obsessing over whether or not they are drinking. So cool. I am sitting in my little home office watching the rain pouring down. It is peaceful. I may just take a nap.

Tee hee, thanks Ruby (actually my ex wife is very nice, all problems caused by me). How did your sorting go?

Spoke with my youngest daughter a short while ago - is going to get a US drivers license. She already has an International driving permit but apparently the insurance is cheaper with a US License. Does anyone know what the test is like in Maryland?

Sao, you're welcome but now I have that song running through my head. Your daughter can pick up a "rules of the road" manual for the state, study it and practice a few times and should be fine. I'd have a hard time with the opposite side of the road thing.

It's getting hot here. Sorting? Myeh. Trying to clean up and sort doesn't work so well for me. Focus. Focus. One thing at a time, not ten things at once!!!!
