Feeling bad about ...

Lying. To my boss, about an injury, so I could stay away from people for an extra day or two. I'm sober, the hangover has passed, but I just couldn't muster up the mental strength to go to the workplace and see the others. Even though they had nothing to do with neither the drinking nor did I 'drunk message' any of them during my Friday relapse.

Hope I'm forgiven for this transgression. Didn't feel like I could straight up go and say 'Hey, I'm reeling from a recent relapse. Can you give me an extra day of rest to get my head right?'. Lying makes me sick to my stomach, because as a drinker, that's all I did. Guess that's why they still come so easily ... :/

I think you'll get to a point soon where lying is simply no longer necessary kkik5 :)

Hope you feel good enough to return to work soon :)

I'm with Dee. I must say that I lied a lot during drinking and now I'm on the sober journey, things are just simpler. I hope you can go back to work and get into a routine soon :-)
