So..i said no.

I work at a bar and tonight I worked and was offered a shot and I said no....I knew that one would turn to more and I decided to not take the first one. I know it's a small step, but I'm so used to saying yes, it felt like an accomplishment for me. Day 4 sober and happy!

That has to be hard trying quit drinking and working at a bar. Good luck and stay strong.

It's really hard. I've been in the service industry for seven years and that's where I think it all started. Being around it constantly, used to go out a lot before I had my son, and then eventually it just ended up with me having my wine every night before bed. It became habit and routine. It became too "normal" for me.
