It can't force you to take action, you have totally got this. The AV just lies and you will feel so good once you've passed this, it'll get easier each time that you recognise it and stop it in its tracks.
Then take a break.
Drinking's not a break - not for folks like us Jeff.
Go back and read some of your past threads. Read some of the ones where you've been drinking.
Chalk and cheese, mate.
Ultimately Jeff if you want to stay sober you've got to be prepared to fight for it. If you keep folding, nothing going to change.
Make yourself a big breakfast and read some links

Hungry? Angry? Lonely? Tired?
Have a good breakfast - maybe take your wife out for breakfast - IHOP, breakfast diner?????
Find a park and walk off that breakfast.
Angry - work out a bit.
Take a nap after your walk.
You can do this; I have no doubt.

How about a big filling breakfast? Start with whatever is quick and satisfying and continue from there. Alcohol and a full belly don't go well together. You can't buy any on Sunday in Minnesota, so it won't be easy to get and I would think there's none in the house. Ride it out, you can do this.
You want to drink because you're addicted to alcohol. The reasons you can come up with to justify it are just excuses.
You want that AV to go away and leave you alone? STARVE IT. It's the only way.
You can do this.
