What a feeling I have been sober just over 10 weeks now. I went to my 1st AA meeting 2 days after lifting my last drink. I decided on Wednesday I was going to join the group. What a feeling that was and what a welcome I got. I went wrong the last time by falling away from AA, and not giving it a chance. (I was told if I stopped going to meetings, I would relapse) I have gone 1 step further this time and joined. It feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, Getting and swapping phone numbers as well. I pass this message on in hope knowing that anyone struggling will give it a shot. It was daunting at 1st for me to go back, but it's the best thing I have done in a long time. SR :You_Rock_ |
Excellent! Awesome job! You should definitely be proud. I am seriously considering AA. Leaning heavily in that direction right now. |
Congratulations on ten sober weeks, Keven; well done. I am glad that you are finding AA so helpful. Keep on!!!! |
Thanks. It's amazing what can be achieved in even a short time. Sleeping better, Eating better, Anger has gone., Bills been paid on time. I have a direction in life again. I'm trying not to get ahead of myself, There are some days that get me down, but they are short lived. |
