YOU CAN stay sober this weekend!! May 7- until....
Geezers Covering Oldies! Love it, BigS! I'd go too. Heard a radio ad for a Johnny Cash thing. Geezers covering Cash.
Slow slow day here. I'm pretty much done but think I'm not going back to the office.
I was browsing around on SR in cafe central and was reading the recipe thread. I'm hungry. It's nice to read what people have to say. SW, I use Viva paper towels. Best ones I've found here in States.

It was perfectly placed during a very poignant combination of scenes on an episode of Sons of Anarchy.

Old geezer Pete Townshend...
I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then i'll get down on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again no no
Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss

Welp, been up here since Monday so I thought it would be good to get some birding in this morning. Caught some easy shots - lots of great species for those who enjoy bird-watching. Of course, being an amateur birder myself I felt the need to label my photos - so when the Audubon Society calls I will be ready!
The yellow-winged tanager was much more impressive without the camera lens and was my favorite so far. The Dusky Flycatcher is the bad boy with an attitude problem:

The Dusky Flycatcher looks like a bad boy. I am drawn to him. Wait. I recovered from that already.
I love birds, too.
Meds. I will continue to sing the praises of Vitamin D. Life changing. I always had a low level depression since moving to the north country. I started taking VitD and it took away all that low level angst.
Look it up, I'm not making this up. No blood test needed, and it's nearly impossible to have too much of it.
I can't take prescription anti-Ds due to the side effects. I consider that a blessing, but believe me I tried a lot of them.

FaD, just don't tell on yourself and you'll be fine. You can always blame it on your evil twin.
Brain! Calm down! You sound like you're more excited than the missus. 'Specially with the running around. You'll sound like me in a minute.
Saoutchik, I heard that on the radio this morning. Station is featuring The Who today, along with solo endeavors. Heard Slit Skirt.
BigS, nice. I'm limited to red finches and sparrows today.
Outside warming up. Air conditioning season is upon us already.

OK ~
Name the second blistering Rock Song featuring a Jew's Harp? A HA! Didn't think you could.-) A fine Nominee linked below for our Theme Song here on 'The Weekenders Sans Benders'.
So, how many redundancies are there in this Quote from above:
'... Mr Behan - the crazy Irish drummer...'
Hee hee... I did some Road Trips in my 15 minutes of R&R Mediocrity. The most memorable might be packing up my 3/4 Ton Dodge Truck with this homemade Wood Camper Shell that looked like an Appalachian Outhouse, and hooking up our Cargo Trailer full O'Band Gear. Drove all night down to S.E. New Mexico. Played in front of ~7,500 Sunburnt Drunk Students at UTEP near Buddy Holly's Hometown. Visited the old Theater he started out playing in. Good times. Good Money.
Of course, Miz Ruby is welcome to come along on this pending Geezer Tour and shake her - um - 'Tambourine'.
Let's travel in style, shall we?
