Congrats on day 4. Have you considered getting a physical/checkup to make sure everything is on the up and up? I had some nutritional deficiencies and gastro issues that needed medical attention after all those years of drinking.

I know a check up is the wisest thing to do but im just so darn scared of getting blood tests etc and the doc says I have cirrhosis or something! So im kinda nervous about it!

I have health anxiety and get nervous going to doctors too, but I still go. It can actually take a load off your mind once you get there, they are there to help remember ;-)

Thanks for the update, Chilledice. Stay vigilant. Within the first few weeks, those urges to drink can be both powerful and unexpected. Be ready to deal with them when they hit.

You are doing great. Be strong. You can do this.
