I am a mother of an addict, please help!
 

I have read a few threads on this site and want to be a part. I am the mother of a 25 yr old addict who has been using opiates for 5 years and I am desperate for all of the advice I can get. I am beyond exhausted. I have read for hours and hours online about treatment centers and methods. What I really want to hear about is real people going through this with their child, and what has and hasn't worked for them. I feel like I am all alone in this, and I do no understand addiction. Please help!

Thank you so much, I just started a new thread in FFSA and when I went to post it the site kicked me out. So I have to start all over. I really need all of the support that I can get.
