Hello All,
I've been visiting this website for a while and was even registered at some point, but I think I wasn't quite ready to make the commitment to stop drinking. I'm back to give this a shot again and make it stick this time!
I'm in my 40's and have been drinking too much for many years now. I can see that the drinking is having some serious negative effects on me like anxiety, weight gain, and the fact that I'm just not as good at work or as a parent as I could be if I weren't weighed down by the booze.
I'm going to give Smart Recovery a try. It seems like the best fit for me. And of course, I plan to be here quite a bit.
So, here it goes!
