So no drinking this morning or at work today. The doctor was kind and understanding, he said I was experiencing 'moderate' w/d's. He gave me Librium and Campral. He said he has done this successfully outpatient dozens of times. So now I work on not drinking ever again, and getting into a program. Will do AA this weekend.

This is great news and Librium will help you a lot to detox safely.
Make sure you stay well hydrated too ( Gatorade is cheap and works wonders).

That's great Amy. Good news about your Doctor being helpful, and you sound like you're feeling positive and are getting a sobriety plan together. As Carlotta said, any AA questions you want to ask, feel free. Sometimes it makes it easier if we have some idea what to expect. Let us know how you get on xx
