Wow..almost 20K posts!

If you don't wanna participate, it's cool.... I thought it was a fun exercise myself. Different strokes for different folks. Peace.

^^ I think he's jokingly saying he's an introvert. Was nothing against you.

What?? I voted in the poll. My contribution was my way of explaining the fact that I am an introvert. Sorry you took it the wrong way. It just further demonstrates how introverts are misunderstood.

Thank you, TroyW.

Most people that post on forums are introverts.

I flip flop between INTJ and INTP, my whole life really. When it comes to the analysis, I'm INTP ( linguistics, math and computers- was going to be a language teacher. Discovered I was great at math and now work for a SaaS!)

Long story short, introverted. Lol

I always considered myself a strong combination. When I hit bottom I was an introvert. In sobriety I have stayed more on the introverted side...more cautious now than I ever was about anything!

Introverted, but alcohol turned me into a false but blatant and obnoxious, sloppy extrovert.

Now that I've read three books on introversion I guess that officially makes me an introvert. Though most psychologists site a sliding scale and not simply people being all one or all the other.

I haven't taken the Briggs-Meyers test.

But I think I am naturally introverted.

When I am with friends I am very engaged and conversational.

But I am also perfectly comfortable by myself.

My husband thinks I'm much more extroverted now that I've been sober a couple of years. I think he's right. But I'm definitely a natural introvert, and I score as INTJ on the MBTI.

Introvert here. I always drank to deal with people and situations, have fun at a party, etc.

That's interesting that so many of us are introverted. It makes sense though. I'm definitely like a lot of other folks here - introverted and much more of a listener, then as soon as I drank I changed totally.

I know society says we're supposed to all be extroverted, popular all stars, but I have to admit, I don't have a problem with being introverted. Ok, I may not ever become the greatest car or insurance salesman, but I fail to see the loss.

I may not be the "life at a party", but to be honest, most times the "life of a party" was quite obnoxious and irritating, so I don't feel like I'm losing out there either.

Hmmm... yep, quite happy introverted. My apologies if I listen to people before belching out "words of wisdom". Must be a fault of mine.
