Just watched the Kentucky Derby

Last year I was newly sober, attending a bridal shower with the race as the theme of the party. It was really fun, even though I was newly sober and paying more attention to who was drinking what and how many they had. My brain feels so different now.

I had 18, 8, 10 trifecta but didn't box it. Rats!!!! Watched it from my couch sipping on a Gatorade and had just as much fun.

A year makes a huge difference. To anyone in their first 30-60 days - it really does get better, and it's totally worth it!
