Can i ask you all to pray for me?
Hi Jen,
For me personally, I don't have problems being around alcohol. I used to, and even still, keep some in the house, I can go out to restaurants with friends who have a few drinks, etc.
I do however, have huge issues being around addiction. As soon as my radar starts picking up signs, my internal alarm systems goes beserk, all hands on deck, get the heck out of here. So for me personally, I have to remove myself from the situation or person as quickly as I can, so I can stay healthy. Easier said than done I know.

I'm so sorry you're hurting. Your situation sounds really stressful.
The F & F world isn't one that I know well, but it does seem like finances keep people stuck in a situation they want to leave. With your schooling, it sounds like the foundation for your independence is being built and giving you options.
I've always thought you're a smart, insightful woman -- your posts here are compassionate and wise.
You deserve contentment and peace in your life, Jen. Don't ever forget that.

Jennifer - God's plans for you are good, not evil. No matter what, his plans will always be for your good. Develop a vision of victory for your life. Your doing a great job at setting the example. Heavenly Father, thank you that your plans for Jennifer today are good. Thank you for putting the vision of victory in her heart. Help her to put you first in all that she does. Bless her in a special way that she may be a blessing to others. May God's grace sustain you and wipe away any depression you have. Peace Jennifer.

Thank you for all the support. I got some disturbing info from his best friend tonight at work and it seems he is leaving a path of destruction everywhere. Not just here at home. And I like what someone said about building my foundation...I am. It's going to take a while and I hope I have the patience. It's tricky trying to hide all of this from my six year old. Very tricky.
