Pain in right abdomen -

I am sober for 3 days now and getting this pain in my right side just down the rib cage ... Is this normal or should I get it checked out?

Thanks all for your messages before , i am trying to build a new routine now with workout as strong addition. I also see a therapist soon. This time I will try to make it ! For AA meetings I need some guidance.

Hi Cursed :)

we can't give you medical advice here - but pain is never normal.

If you're concerned why not get it checked out by a medical professional?

Yes thinking perhaps it's withdrawal symptom....

I had the same thing. I went to the dr. I had alcohol related gall bladder issues. No stones, but major inflammation. It still fired up on me every now and again. Go see the doctor. Anything under the ribs seems pretty important to me.

It could just be a withdrawal symptom, but is it wise to take the chance?

It couldn't hurt to go in and explain the symptoms.
