About 5 or 6 years. Not Sure how it started - life/death/work drama, like everyone elseon here I assume. You get some serious kudos from me for answering, FYI.

This is the down period of the forum Cano - really late in the US and too early in Europe. I'm here cos I'm in Australia.

Don't take it personally - things will be jumping later :)

Have you tried to stop drinking before? Something that is helping me a lot is community support. I go to AA meetings and my local addiction support centre.

Yes it helps. Just like The Matrix I used to cruise the internet while drunk looking for the answer to why I felt off. Something was wrong with my drinking. I'm much better now. I stopped. Good luck! You can stop too.
