Gabor Mate's Take On Addiction
I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this post, but I wanted to share this little 3-minute video of Dr. Gabor Mate speaking on addiction. I wonder if the folks on this forum agree with his view of addiction.
Dr. Mate wrote an excellent book that I know some SR members have read called "In The Realm of Hungry Ghosts".

Oops! Sorry, looks like 'they' deleted the short video I was trying to share. There is a 'Part 2' included with the link, and if you click on it, you will see Dr Mate giving a Ted Talk on the same subject - a much longer version of the shorter, now deleted video.
