Oh, Tetra - I'm sorry, but this made me laugh out loud right here in the middle of my office! On, the plus side, I think you can probably be assured that it went through the dishwasher, otherwise it probably wouldn't have gotten put 'away'.

But thank you for the belly laugh!

Congratulations on 17 months Rubylicious.

Have you tried looking on your head Getting smarter, I usually find mine there. 6 Flags, isn't that where the Banana Splits was filmed? (Bingo was my favourite + used to like some of the Sour Grapes girls, acceptable as I was their age at the time)

BigSomb Mesa, why go to Venice when the same romantic scenery can be found on my local canal

Sorry missed roll call didn't I. Weekend has started properly now for me. Three whole days too.

David Sedaris should be good if his radio show is anything to go by. Have fun seeing Milton Jones Mecx

Hi weekenders! Wow! I haven't been on the weekend bus for a while things are certainly moving along!

Gettingsmarter I want to go to six flags too! I only live about 30 minutes away but never make time to go! Do they still sell Pink Things? Is that what you call those pink ice creams?!?!

Ok seriously! I'm out on my patio and I just got bit by a mosquito! It's already starting!!! Crud!

That photo wasn't actually mine (though it is right near where I live). It is from the 2013 Canalival which has been banned since then.
It was great fun while it lasted

I take my folks to see him every time he is in town because they are huge fans as well. He was just here in November and he was fabulous!
I am the black sheep of the family ,being the middle age single with no kids recovering alcoholic, so the shared time keeps me relevant in the family.
I can't wait!

Tetra, wow! All those interviews. That's great. When it rains, it pours I guess. Have fun! I think if you aren't actively looking and are satisfied with your current job, you will be able to relax and have fun on the interview. Which - would probably lead to a job offer. Then you will have to decide whether to take it

Saoutchik, I did feel claustrophobic at seeing all those rubber rafts/dinghies whatever they are called, floating so close together. Why was Canalival banned? Did someone go overboard?

I wasn't a big Banana Splits fan. I was more in the Scooby Doo genre. Those little dune buggies though. That looked fun.

I'm procrastinating. I'm pulling a Gilmer and posting here instead of finishing my monthly statistics. Posting here is far more satisfying. But, I must wrench myself away and tally my numbers. I hope that I was accurate in my daily figures or I will be recounting everything.

That's funny. Pink things haha. As kids being from Texas we pronounced them as pink thangs. I usually eat myself nearly sick on them. I hope they still have them. Haven't been in probably 10 years.

I now have Gain air fresheners and Gain dish soap.

Thanks for the reminder and thanks to Della for the ringing endorsement.

Do I smell 500 posts this weekend?
